OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Oshkosh community is invited to help shape the future of the schools.
The Oshkosh Area School District is inviting parents, students, staff, business owners, and residents to help decide the direction of schools in the district.
The Oshkosh Schools Summit is a collaborative three-day community event at Menominee Elementary School in the cafeteria.
The goal is to identify the community’s top priorities and use them to shape what the public schools should focus on.
The results of this collaboration will guide the district’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and five-year district goals that will be established by the Board of Education in May and June.
The summit is designed as a three-part journey, with each of the three days building on the ideas from the day before. The district strongly recommends attending all three days to get the full experience, however, your voice is valuable whenever you can join.
- Tuesday, April 28: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday, April 29: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday, May 2: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
To make it easier for everyone to attend, the district is providing:
- Free food and drinks at every session.
- On-site childcare (registration required via RSVP).
- Transportation and translation services upon request (via RSVP).
RSVP online or call 920.424.0160 for more information.
