MANITOWOC, WI—The arrival of spring brings baby farm animals to Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center. The fourth annual Spring Baby Fever event returns bigger than ever, expanding from a single-day celebration to multiple days of baby animals and special guests. The event takes place March 28 and March 31 through April 4.
From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day, guests can enjoy:
Saturday, March 28
- Lambs from White Granary Farm, bunnies, piglets from Peter Family Show Pigs, goat kids from FreeFall Nubians, a baby llama from Black Frog Farm, and a baby alpaca from LondonDairy Alpaca Ranch.
- Veterinary ultrasound demonstration and a hands-on anatomy activity with Valley Veterinary Clinic.
- Two royalty readings with Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs Kaelie Billingsley and Sheboygan County Fairest of the Fair Payton Vorpahl.
Tuesday, March 31
- Mini Hereford calf from Hideaway Ranch Mini Herefords, piglets, bunnies, and goat kids.
- Royalty reading with Wisconsin Holstein Association Royalty Princess Brianne Vandoske.
Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2
- Mini Hereford calf, piglets, and bunnies.
- Royalty reading with Princess Brianne Vandoske.
Friday, April 3
- Piglets and bunnies.
- Hands-on animal-themed activity with 78th Alice in Dairyland, Sarah Hagenow.
- Royalty reading with Princess Brianne Vandoske.
Saturday, April 4
- Lambs, piglets, bunnies, a baby llama, and baby alpacas.
- Veterinary ultrasound demonstration and a hands-on anatomy activity with Valley Veterinary Clinic.
- Royalty reading with Wisconsin Holstein Association Royalty Princess Attendant Alison Gartman.
- Indoor Easter egg hunt in celebration of Easter weekend.
In addition, the highly requested Calf Connections program will be offered every day of the Spring Baby Fever event. This behind-the-scenes experience allows guests to pet, snuggle, and interact with a day-old calf. The program is available at select times and can be purchased at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis for $5 per youth (ages 0–18) and $10 per adult.
The Wisconsin Café, located inside Farm Wisconsin, will also be open each day serving breakfast, lunch, and homemade soups made with locally sourced ingredients from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
All Spring Baby Fever activities and animal interactions are included in the price of general admission. The discovery center will remain open until 4:00 p.m. each day. Tickets can be purchased in advance at farmwisconsin.org or at the reception desk upon arrival.
Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center
The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is an interactive agricultural education center located along I-43 in northeastern Wisconsin. Farm Wisconsin connects visitors’ curiosity to the wonder of Wisconsin agriculture and provides guests with a better understanding of their food sources and their importance.
Regular Farm Wisconsin admission rates are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors 62 and older, and $10 for youth 3-18. Children 2 and younger are admitted free of charge. More information can be found at farmwisconsin.org.
