OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One man has been arrested after a shooting involving two vehicles in Oshkosh.
According to the Oshkosh Police Department, the shooting took place in the evening of March 13 on the 2400 block of Blake Court.
The suspect was identified as a 21-year-old Oshkosh man.
On March 13, the suspect fired a round from his vehicle into the back of another vehicle containing five juveniles.
One person was shot in the arm and taken to a local hospital and was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The suspect’s vehicle also contained two juveniles.
Oshkosh Police used investigative technology to identify the suspect’s vehicle.
Police found the vehicle in a parking lot of an apartment complex on the 400 block of Sullivan Street in Oshkosh.
Detectives eventually conducted a high-risk traffic stop on Highway 21 where the suspect and other persons of interest we taken into custody. The other two people were released.
A search warrant was later conducted of the suspect’s apartment where the hand gun believed to be used in the shooting was found.
Police say it appears to be an isolated incident.
