TOWN OF CHILTON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A De Pere man died and two others, including a child, were injured in a Calumet County crash.
The three-vehicle crash happened around 8:12 p.m. Monday at the intersection of State Highway 57 and Schneider Road in the town of Chilton.
Deputies say a northbound vehicle on State Highway 57 crossed into the southbound lane and struck two oncoming vehicles.
The driver of the northbound vehicle was a 77-year-old De Pere man. He died at the scene.
The driver of one of the southbound vehicles was a 39-year-old man from Appleton. He was not injured.
The driver of the other southbound vehicle was a 50-year-old Kiel man. He and his passenger, who is a child, were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
