BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Officials have identified the individuals who were killed and injured in a house fire in Bellevue over the weekend.
Early Sunday morning, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to a blaze in the 100 block of Scarlet Lane. Initial reports indicated two individuals may have been trapped inside the residence.
When crews arrived, one occupant had made it out of the home. He was identified Monday by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office as Bruce Bayne, 83. The second occupant, whom authorities identified as 82-year-old Marie Bayne, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. Bayne was transported to a local hospital following the fire. The sheriff’s office said Monday the severity of his injuries is unknown at this time.
