GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Outagamie County residents are asked to fetch ideas in naming the county’s new dog park.
The dog park, being built at 3302 W. Brewster Street in Grand Chute, is expected to open during the last week of May.
But as of now, it does not have a name.
Community members are invited to submit their name ideas online between now and Mar. 20.
To submit a name idea, you must provide:
- Your name
- Your contact information
- The dog park name you’re suggesting
After submissions close, Outagamie County will review entries the following week and narrow the list to no fewer than five and up to eight finalist names.
Starting Monday, April 6, the community will be invited to vote online for their favorite of the finalist names.
Voting closes Friday, April 24.
Outagamie County will announce the winning name after the voting period ends and will contact the individual who submitted the winning name to invite them to participate in the ribbon cutting during the dog park’s grand opening.
