Give BIG Green Bay
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Nonprofits are in the spotlight for a 24-hour window starting Wednesday at noon. Give BIG Green Bay is back for another year and hoping to blow last year’s numbers out of the water.
The online giving event will end at noon Thursday. Donors have 50 nonprofits to choose from, ranging from animal shelters, food pantries, museums, nonprofits centered around women, nonprofits centered around veterans, and much more.
Last year each nonprofit raised an average of $70,000. That’s three times more money raised than nonprofits raise on larger, national giving days.
Since 2018 Give BIG Green Bay has raised more than $17 million to support nonprofits across Brown County.
