(LEAFIELD/247NEWSSOURCE) – Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo says it again, for what must feel like the millionth time.
He tells ESPN he is “committed” to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Antetokounmpo was interviewed during NBA All-Star Weekend.
Numerous reports over the last few months had him traded to the Golden State Warriors, the Minnesota Timberwolves, or the Miami Heat.
Talks were held, but no trades were completed.
Antetokounmpo promises he will never be heard saying he “doesn’t want to be a Milwaukee Buck.”
All-Star break continues: Milwaukee will return to the floor Friday for an away game against the Pelicans.
The Bucks beat New Orleans 141-137 in overtime earlier this month.
Milwaukee is currently 12th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 23-and-30 this season.
The Bucks and Chicago Bulls are both 1 1/2 games out of the final play-in spot, trailing the Atlanta Hawks (26-30).
