BLACK CREEK, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 28-year-old woman from Appleton, a 39-year-old woman from Brillion, and a juvenile passenger were all taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in the town of Black Creek Friday evening.
According to a press release from the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office the department was dispatched to a two-vehicle crash near State Highway 47 and Brandt Road right around 5:40 p.m.
The investigation by the Sheriff’s Office revealed the 28-year-old was driving south on 47 when she lost control, crossed over the centerline into oncoming traffic, and was hit by an SUV.
The 28-year-old was flown to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to an area hospital with serious injuries and the passenger of the SUV was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Icy road conditions are believed to have contributed to the crash.
