(UW ATHLETICS) – The Wisconsin men’s basketball team opens the month of February with a road battle at Indiana on Saturday. Tip at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, is set for 11 a.m.
The game will air live on FOX as Kevin Kugler and LaPhonso Ellis will have the call. Fans can also listen to Matt Lepay and Brian Butch on the Badger Radio Network.
UW has won 26 of the last 31 matchups with Indiana, including 12 of the last 15. Prior to Bo Ryan and Greg Gard’s arrival in 2002, the Badgers were 49-91 against IU all-time, but have gone 32-8 in the 40 matchups since. Wisconsin’s 26-5 record over Indiana since 2007-8 is the best by a Big Ten team against IU by a near six games (Purdue 21-11).
The Hoosiers come into Saturday’s contest at 15-8, and 6-6 in the Big Ten. They beat UCLA, 98-97, last Saturday before falling to USC on Tuesday to split their Los Angeles road trip. Lamar Wilkerson leads Indiana at 20.2 points per game. Between IU and UW, the two rank in the Big Ten’s top four teams in terms of three-pointers per game.
