GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Isaias Cupino, the Oconto Falls doctor charged with generating child pornography, pleaded not guilty Friday.
Cupino faces eight charges: five counts of production of child pornography, one count of transport of child pornography, and two counts of possession of child pornography.
An April 20 trial date was set. A week-long trial is anticipated.
Cupino addressed the court, asking for an earlier trial date, but after a conference, the April 20 date was finalized.
According to court documents, Cupino allegedly coerced a “pre-pubescent minor” to engage in sexually explicit conduct and used a phone to capture pornographic images.
