(UW ATHLETICS/WNFL) – Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers continued to re-stock the football team’s roster with 2 more additions through the transfer portal, announcing them yesterday.
Coming to the Badgers are Malachi Coleman, a wide receiver transferring from Minnesota and James Roe, a long snapper coming from Toledo.
Malachi Coleman – WR – R-Jr. – 6-4/200 – Lincoln, Neb. – Minnesota: Lengthy wideout with experience at two Big Ten schools … made six starts as a true freshman at Nebraska in 2023 and played as a rotational option at Minnesota in 2025 … was regarded as one of the top prospects in the country: named the No. 1 prospect out of Nebraska in the class of 2023
James Roe – LS – Jr. – 5-11/195 – Kennesaw, Ga. – Toledo: Long snapper with two years of eligibility remaining … named to PFF’s All-Freshman team in 2024 … played 26 consecutive games as Toledo’s long snapper … recovered a fumble against Western Michigan in 2025
