(WNFL) – Giannis Antetokounmpo prevented 2 attempts to score by LeBron James in the closing seconds and Kevin Porter Jr. scored 22 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 105-101 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Los Angeles on Friday.
With 39 seconds left, Antetokoumpo blocked a shot by James and then with 2 seconds left knocked the ball out of James’ hands to preserve the victory.
Porter then sealed the win with a pair of free throws.
Antetokounmpo finished with 21 points for the Bucks who led by double digits for a good portion of the game. Kyle Kuzma scored 13 points for the Bucks while AJ Green and Bobby Portis both had 11.
James had 26 points and Luka Doncic 24 for the Lakers.
The Bucks play at Denver against the Nuggets on Sunday night.
