BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Green Bay man was arrested Thursday morning for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
Jonathon Jeske, 49, drifted into a lane occupied by a Wisconsin state trooper’s car just after 1:00 a.m., where he proceeded to run into the squad car.
The state trooper performed a traffic stop after being hit. Jeske was stopped driving southbound on I-41 at State Highway 29.
After seeing signs of impairment, Jeske was arrested for Operating While Impaired (OWI). A blood draw was conducted, but results are still pending.
Jeske is being held at the Brown County Jail. Further charges are pending, including Battery to Law Enforcement, Resisting an Officer, and Hit and Run of an Occupied Vehicle.
