GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Ships will not be able to pass under the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge between next week and the middle of March.
Green Bay public works officials say crews will be performing maintenance on the bridge beginning Jan. 6 and lasting until March 9.
Boats that can pass under the bridge in its lowered position can still do so.
Traffic on the bridge that connects Dousman and Main streets over the Fox River will also be impacted. Single lanes will be closed at times during the maintenance work.
