WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Derrick Van Orden applauded the House passage of the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act, a major step towards repairing the damage to the health care system destroyed by the Democrats’ Unaffordable Care Act.

Expanding Association Health Plans (AHPs): Helping small businesses and self-employed workers lower premiums by up to 30 percent.

Protecting Employer-Sponsored Insurance: Ensuring self-insured plans and stop-loss coverage remain available to manage costly medical claims.

Strengthening CHOICE Arrangements: Allowing employers to offer flexible, tax-advantaged benefits, giving more workers access to health care for the first time.

Lowering Prescription Drug Costs: Requiring pharmacy benefit managers (PRMs) to be transparent, so small businesses can negotiate better deals.
