(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers suffered more than just a 34-26 loss on the scoreboard to the Broncos in Denver on Sunday.
The Packers lost offensive lineman Zach Tom, wide receiver Christian Watson and defensive end Micah Parsons to injuries.
Green Bay led 23-14 after taking the second half kickoff and marching down the field for a score.
It was all downhill after that.
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that it was a tough night.
Quarterback Jordan Love who completed 24 of 40 for 276 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions said that it was a tough game.
LaFleur talked about Micah Parson’s knee injury.
Love talked about seeing Parsons go down.
Safety Xavier McKinney talked about the loss of Parsons.
He was asked what goes through his mind when he see’s Micah Parsons down with an injury.
LaFleur was asked how do they make up for the loss of impact by losing a player like Micah Parsons.
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix wound up throwing four touchdown passes in that team’s 11th straight victory.
McKinney said that despite the loss of Parsons, the team isn’t giving up.
The Packers play at Chicago next Sunday.
