MADISON, WI (WTAQ) — Wisconsin conducted more COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours than any time previously during the pandemic.
Over 8,000 tests were conducted between Wednesday and Thursday and of those 472, or around 5%, were positive.
Around 16% of cases have been hospitalized and over 58% of total cases have recovered.
The percentage positive rate in Wisconsin has hovered between 8.3% and 2.9% over the past two weeks.
So far 13,885 cases of the virus have been detected in Wisconsin and 487 have died.
