Cuteness overload was an understatement! We basically wanted to bring a trailer to the farm so all of the animals could come back home with us.
Look at these guys! The best part of the day we spent at the farm was being able to not only see the animals, but you can actually go inside the pens by them! This isn't like a zoo where you'd get in trouble for jumping over a locked gate. At this farm they actually encourage you to go in by the animals, it's awesome!

As you can see, pigs are arguably one of the greatest animals…everyone's entitled to their own opinion! Anyways, these little piglets aren't the only animals on the farm, this pen is just one of the stops we had to make when we checked out the farm.
There was also this very energetic, loud pen. Welcome to the world of the goats! Goats of all ages from a couple weeks old to the mothers.
There were points in the day where it seemed like the parents were more excited about the animals than the kids! That just goes to show you that it doesn't matter how old you are. You can still go check out the animals and have a good time.
The amount of baby animals didn't seem to end there at all.
How could anybody see all of these little guys and not wanna hang out there all day? Not only that but they also had duckling, baby chicks, some calves, sheep, and probably some that I'm forgetting.
One of the coolest parts was seeing all of the kids and parents learn so much about agriculture. When it came to milking the cow, most of the kids just watched their parents do it because they were nervous. If I was 5 years old standing next to a 1,000 pound cow, I probably wouldn't be the bravest person in the world either.
I'm sure under that unimpressed look on the cow's face, she was happy to help teach the little ones about where their milk comes from. Not just let these kids go on assuming it just “comes from the store”.
Place like this farm are really important because a lot of people honestly have no idea how a farm works. These places give people the opportunity to educate themselves, especially since this is The Dairyland!
