KESHENA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Eight people were arrested and illegal drugs and firearms were seized during a search warrant on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
It was executed Tuesday at a residence in the South Branch area of the reservation. The search was the result of a joint investigation between the Menominee Tribal Police Department and the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office.
Eight individuals were taken into custody. Seven were taken to the Menominee Tribal Jail and the other to the Shawano County Jail.
A news release says, “Charges related to illegal drugs and firearms will be forwarded to both Tribal and Federal Prosecutors for review.”
