HARRIS, MI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An Upper Michigan resort and casino is planning a $30 million expansion.
The Hannahville Indian Community Tribal Council says the expansion at Island Resort and Casino will include more than 100 hotel rooms. Citing high customer demand, the council says the new addition will be connected to the Palm Tower. It will include a pool and water park, high-end dining venue, convention space, three guest elevators, and a lobby.
Quintus 3D, based in western Wisconsin, has been selected to lead architecture and engineering for the project. Iron Mountain, Michigan-based Gundlach Champion will oversee construction management.
