GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — “I really think they have the potential to do it.”
“They’re gonna win. They’re in the moment right now.”
“Jimmy [Garropollo’s] chin line can’t be the reason they win, Aaron Rodgers all the way.”
That’s what the Green and Gold Faithful are saying ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fans gathered at Packers Heritage Trail Plaza in downtown Green Bay, braving the cold to cheer the team to victory.
The Preble High School band played and sticks of cheese were thrown haphazardly to the crowd. Packers President Mark Murphy gave the keys to the game.
“If we can get them into passing situation, [and] shutting down their running game. They have a really good running game,” “Those will be the keys, I would say.”
Downtown Green Bay, Inc put on the rally, and they hope to do so again if the Packers can stamp their ticket to the Super Bowl this Sunday.
