FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Fond du Lac police say a 41-year-old Missouri man is in a Neenah hospital after jumping from a third story hotel window early Friday morning.
Police say they were called to the Country Inn and Suites at 12:25 a.m. at 121 Merwin Way.
When officers arrived they found the man who said he was being attacked by dogs while he was in his hotel room.
That’s when the man jumped from his hotel room. Police say there weren’t any animals in the room.
The man was taken to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center.
After a search warrant was conducted, officers found a spent handgun casing, small amounts of meth and a 9mm handgun in the room.
There were no bullets holes found during the search.
No criminal charges are being filed.
