GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Menominee tribal member has been indicted on a federal child porn charge.
Prosecutors say the case against Kelly L. Turney, 23, of Zoar, is part of Project Safe Childhood, a national effort to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
If convicted, Turney faces up to 10 years in prison.
Menominee tribal police, the state Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the FBI investigated the case.
