GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Early in-person absentee voting began Thursday at the Green Bay Metro Transit Station, 901 University Avenue.
Voting is available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and April 1, 2 and 3.
The voting location is on the west side of the building, in the main lobby. City officials say there is protective glass between the voter and the election inspector, but not between individual voters. To prevent the spread of coronavirus, the city is limiting capacity in the waiting room to four people at a time.
Voters are also asked to bring their own black ballpoint pens, in order to prevent the spread of disease. Voters should not use gel pens, felt-tipped pens or pens of color other than black.
Voters will need valid photo identification to vote.
Voters may also register to vote at this early voting location. Take proof of residence along.
Voters can park in the visitor lot, which can be accessed by drivers headed east on University Avenue.
