OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Casey Cameron pleaded not guilty Monday to the murder of Kevin “Hollywood” Hein at a Neenah tavern.
Cameron, who is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and six other counts, returns to court May 28 for a status conference. No trial date was set, court records show.
Cameron allegedly went to the Short Branch Saloon Oct. 14 to commit an armed robbery. Hein followed Cameron out of the bar, when Cameron allegedly shot him, according to the complaint.
Police matched DNA from a bandanna left at the scene with DNA found on a cigarette Cameron tossed from a vehicle as he was being followed by police.
