GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Great Lakes freighter stuck in the bay of Green Bay for the past week is now free.
The 740-foot long Algoma Conveyor ran aground about five miles from the mouth of the Fox River.
On Thursday, two smaller boats could be seen leading the ship.
The freighter, coming from Canada, heading to the port of Green Bay, had a crew of 18 aboard when it became stuck on March 19.
