(WTAQ) — Over 1,300 Wisconsinites have been confirmed to be infected with the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
State health officials said Tuesday that positive tests stood at 1,351. 16 deaths have been confirmed.
17,375 people have tested negative.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is asking President Donald Trump for an emergency disaster declaration in Wisconsin in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Wisconsin has over 12-hundred confirmed cases as of Monday afternoon. A declaration would allow FEMA dollars to support Wisconsin’s efforts at containing the virus.
