(LEARFIELD/WNFL)- The Milwaukee Bucks trailed for most of the game before coming from behind Monday night at Dallas to beat the Mavericks 116-114.
The Mavs had a nine-point lead after three periods, then they were outscored 37-26. Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 30 points, and Kyle Kuzma came off the bench to score 26.
Kuzma’s steal and running dunk with 14.9 seconds remaining provided the winning points for the Bucks.
Myles Turner added 14 points while Ryan Rollins and Bobby Portis both scored 13.
Rookie Cooper Flagg had 26 for Dallas.
The Bucks are back in action Wednesday at Charlotte against the Hornets.
That game can be heard beginning with the pre-game show at 5:30 p.m. on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
Prince injury update: Milwaukee Bucks forward Taurean Prince underwent an MRI last week that revealed a herniated disk in his neck. Prince will be sidelined indefinitely as the team’s medical staff and external specialists determine the best treatment plan.
Further updates will be provided as appropriate.
In eight games this season, Prince is averaging 6.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 21.1 minutes per contest, while shooting 44.7% from the field and 42.9% from the arc.
