MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – In an effort to keep the coronavirus from spreading, Marinette County officials are asking people who do not live in or near the county to reconsider visiting at this time.
The County has released updated information for all outdoor recreation and says all county parks and trails are set to open May 1, but officials say restrooms and playgrounds will remain closed.
County-owned boat landings will stay open.
The county says all camping will be closed until further notice.
County staff will continue to monitor use of county properties and officials want to remind people to practice social distancing and if planning a trip to the county to take all waste back with you.
