TOWN OF BYRON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a driver, after a high speed chase.
Officials say a deputy tried to stop a speeding vehicle around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on I-41 in the Town of Byron,
This is in the southern part of the county.
The driver was going 90 miles per hour in a 70 miles per hour zone, according to the Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Department.
The chase continued into Dodge County.
The deputy was able to get enough information from the vehicle that could eventually lead to an arrest.
Officials say fog was also a factor in stopping the chase.
