AHNAPEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The deaths of a 71 year old male and a 56 year old female are being investigated by the Kewaunee Sheriff’s Department in the Township of Ahnapee.
Deputies responded on Friday, May 1 at roughly 7:45 pm to a residence for a well-being check on the two individuals after a caller stated to the department that they had not heard from them in a few days.
When Sheriff’s deputies tried to contact the victims there was no response and saw the bodies of the two individuals on the floor after looking through a window of the home.
The Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation is also assisting in the investigation.
