BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – All essential workers in Brown County will now be eligible for free COVID-19 testing at the county’s two community sites.
Essential workers will be able to be tested at the Resch Center or Casa ALBA Melanie sites, regardless of whether they have symptoms. Previously, anyone who wanted to be tested had to be showing at least one symptom.
In a news release issued Saturday, Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach said….
“This is another step in stopping the spread and flattening the curve.”
The sites are open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Both sites will be operational through Saturday, May 16th for drive through and walk up appointments. Translation services are available for Spanish, Hmong, and Somali speaking residents.
People who would like to schedule an appointment can do so online at StayHealthyBC.com or by calling 2-1-1 on weekdays during normal business hours.
