MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in Manitowoc is giving families a drive-through barnyard experience.
Animals like calves, goats, horses, pigs and chickens, as well has farm machinery will be on display for families to see from their vehicles.
All animals and equipment are provided by local farms and organizations.
“We want families to have a safe way to connect with agriculture from the convenience of their vehicles,” says Patty Lehn, Farm Wisconsin Executive Director. “Like other experiences at Farm Wisconsin, we hope drive-thru guests leave with a little more understanding and appreciation for Wisconsin agriculture.”
The Drive-Thru Barnyard experience will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates: May 16, 17 and May 23, 24, 25.
The cost is $20 per carload and tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate with cash. No change will be given out if paying in cash.
Visitors may enter Farm Wisconsin from the south on Gass Lake Road and must remain in their vehicles at all times.
