GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The ‘Safer at Home’ order continues in the Oneida Nation, but some non-essential Oneida Nation businesses will be able to re-open Friday.
“Small business, tribal member businesses are going to be allowed to open with specially signed affidavits saying that they’re gonna follow these guidelines,” Oneida Nation Chairman Tehassi Hill told reporters Wednesday.
Businesses will have to be approved by the Oneida Nation’s Public Health Officer first and may reopen no earlier than 8 a.m. on May 22. The tribal nation’s public health order remains in effect until June 11th.
Oneida Casino locations plan to reopen in phases beginning May 26.
