ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Green Bay area nursing home is making a difference for its residents.
Families drove by Odd Fellow Nursing home in Allouez and said hello, waving at their loved ones, from a safe distance and honking their horns.
CEO Charlene Everett tells FOX 11 isolation during the pandemic has been hard for residents.
“I am a firm believer in the positive and I do believe that out of this nightmare of a pandemic, good things will come. I believe that we’ll all learn from it. Right now, I can’t tell you what, but give me a week.”
Everett says the parade is an emotional way for the nursing home to thank the families of its residents.
