OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Saturday siren tests are resuming this weekend in Outagamie County.
Emergency management officials say the sirens will be sounded weekly at noon.
Sirens will also sound during the statewide tornado drills April 16 at 1:45 and 6:45 p.m. The drills are part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
County officials remind citizens that the sirens are meant to alert people who are outdoors to take shelter or seek additional information. For indoor warnings, the county recommends using a NOAA weather radio or a smartphone app.
