(WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton is one of the best places to live in the U.S. in 2026, while Green Bay has fallen off a website’s list.
Livability.com says it analyzed more than 2,000 cities with populations between 75,000 and 500,000 to come up with its top 100 list.
The website takes into account factors including the economy, cost of living, amenities, safety and others.
Appleton received high marks for affordability, family-friendliness, its stable, robust economy and outdoor opportunities.
Madison was the only other Wisconsin city to make the list.
Green Bay was ranked in the 2025 list, but not in 2026.
