(WTAQ-WLUK) — Thirty years after a 15-year-old northern Wisconsin girl went missing, her family continues to search for answers.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) released of a new age-progression image of what missing Sara Bushland would like today at 45 years old.
Bushland was last seen on April 3, 1996, after getting off her school bus near her Spooner home.
Bushland’s photo and case information will be featured on more than 650 gas pump screens across the state of Wisconsin throughout the month of April.
The family and NCMEC hopes that renewed visibility around Bushland’s case will generate leads and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
