ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Titletown’s football field has a new name.
It will now be known as Emplify Health Field, officials announced Thursday.
“This partnership represents an exciting new chapter for our organizations,” said Dr. Scott Rathgaber, CEO of Emplify Health, in a news release. “We are proud to strengthen our connection to Titletown and to invest more intentionally in local programs that directly impact and improve the health and well-being of our communities. Emplify Health Field will serve as a hub for community activity, and we’re thrilled to be part of events and programs that bring people together around healthy living.”
Director of Titletown Development Jackie Krutz added, “Over the past nine years, the field has become a year-round community favorite. As Emplify Health Field, it will highlight our shared commitment to the health and well-being of our community.”
We look forward to working together with Emplify Health to create even more opportunities for people in Northeast Wisconsin to lead healthy, active lives.
The partnership gives Emplify Health naming rights and primary connection to Titletown events and programming.
Thursday’s announcement comes not long after Green Bay Packers President/CEO Ed Policy said the organization must look for new ways to increase revenue in an effort to keep up with the rest of the NFL’s teams. Green Bay is the only team owned by fans and the franchise is also a nonprofit organization, which means the Packers don’t have a deep-pocketed owner investing their fortune into their team, like the rest of the league does.
