APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A section of County Road JJ will be temporarily closed to allow for work at Sandy Slope Elementary School.
According to the Outagamie County Highway Department, the Appleton Area School District is completing permanent driveway improvements at the school site.
Construction is scheduled to begin Monday and take place during the school’s spring break period. The anticipated completion date is April 6.
Here’s what drivers need to know:
- County JJ (E. Edgewood Drive) will be closed between Lightning Drive and Mary Martin Drive
- There will be no access to Sandy Slope from County JJ; use Lightning Drive
- The detour route utilizes Ballard Road to I-41 to County Highway N
