(WNFL) – In about 100 degree heat, the Milwaukee Brewers lost 8-7 to the Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix on Friday.
Jacob Misiorowski in his tune-up start for opening day allowed 4 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out 3.
Logan Henderson pitched a pair of scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit while striking out 3.
Offensively, Sal Frelick drove in 3 runs on 3 hits while Jackson Chourio, Jake Bauers and David Hamilton each had 2 hits.
The Brewers play the Padres this afternoon with a 3 p.m. game time on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
