Jason Reeves (Brown Co. Jail)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Former Omro alderman Jason Reeves was sentenced Friday to six years, six months in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
Reeves was convicted of one count of receipt of child pornography. He was also placed on supervised release for 10 years after the prison term is done, court records show.
Two other counts were dismissed.
The investigation into Reeves began when a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was sent to the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Based on the IP address associated with the tip, it was then forwarded to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said Reeves sent a video file of a naked girl, believed to be between 7-10 years old, to another person through a chat message.
In April 2025, a search warrant was executed at Reeves’ home and various electronic devices were seized. That resulted in the recovery of child pornography.
