ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Want to check out a soon-to-be-abandoned library? Brown County has listed the Ashwaubenon library for sale.
With the new branch almost completed, Brown County listed the current facility, 1060 Orlando Drive, for sale for $695,000.
The listing highlights that the 8,000-square-foot building is just five blocks from Lambeau Field.
“Great opportunity acquire an office building only five blocks from Lambeau Field. The former Brown County Library offers 8,000 sq. ft. of mostly open space with two offices, large meeting/classroom, additional work room, three bathrooms and mechanical room. Onsite parking for 19 vehicles. Building was constructed in 1977,” it states.
An opening date for the new library, 2305 San Luis Place, has not been set. It will be called the Pamperin Family Branch Library.
The county is still fundraising for some amenities in the new facility.
