CLEVELAND, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Discover how eight health science programs can lead to an exciting career at a local college this week.

Wednesday, Lakeshore College is hosting their Career Showcase Open House for healthcare.

Learn how to pay for college, get tours of the facility and experience different activities related to healthcare programs the college offers.

Activities offered:

Simulated dental patient care and suctioning
Medical patient assessments
Positioning simulated patients for X-rays
Taking and recording vital signs
Exploring the virtual anatomy table
Assessing simulated heart and lung sounds

Program options:

Dental Assistant
Medical Assistant
Medical Coder
Nursing – Associate Degree
Nursing Assistant
Radiography
Respiratory Therapy
Health Information Management

The showcase is on Wednesday, February 11th from 1-6 p.m. at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Health Care Excellence.
