SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A person died in a Shawano house fire early Tuesday morning.
Around 2:30 a.m., crews were dispatched to the 600 block of S. Union Street for a report of a residential structure fire.
When crews arrived, they found the residence fully engulfed.
After the fire was brought under control, an adult resident was found inside the home and pronounced deceased.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
