(WTAQ-WLUK) — Two men from Arizona were convicted for their roles in what is believed to be the largest fentanyl pill seizure in Wisconsin state history. A third man remains in custody.
The investigation began in January of 2025 when detectives conducted surveillance and arrested Dylan Hock, Trevor Hock, and Jose Gamez, all from Arizona, during a traffic stop in Manitowoc County.
A search of their vehicle revealed 43.2 pounds of fentanyl, disguised as prescription medication. The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is approximately $5.8 million. This seizure is the largest fentanyl pill seizure in Manitowoc County history and is believed to be the largest in Wisconsin.
On Nov. 20, 2025, Dylan Hock was convicted in Manitowoc County Circuit Court on charges of conspiracy to manufacture and deliver fentanyl. He was sentenced to 10 years of initial confinement, followed by 10 years of extended supervision.
On Dec. 3, 2025, Trevor Hock entered a guilty plea in Manitowoc County Circuit Court to conspiracy to manufacture and deliver fentanyl. He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 10, 2026.
Gamez remains in custody on allegations of being a party to the crime of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and is awaiting future court proceedings.
