KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Tony Penterman was elected Mayor of Kaukauna in 2018 and has served ever since. Sunday, he confirmed that he will be seeking his fifth term in office.
“It is with great pleasure that I officially announce my plans to seek another term as Mayor of the City of Kaukauna,” he said.
“THANK YOU to all who have supported me over the last 8 years, and continue to support me. I will continue to work diligently with my constituents, the Common Council and City Staff to make Kaukauna a GREAT and SAFE community to live, work and play,” his statement reads.
“Together, WE can continue to make a difference.”
Penterman was elected 8 years ago after serving as an alderman for the city’s common council. He succeeded former mayor Gene Rosin, who did not seek re-election.
Penterman shared his 2026 goals and objectives if he were to be re-elected:

- Expand our N.E.W. Prosperity Center Industrial Park through annexation of 69.11 acres of land into Kaukauna.
- Continue to work with Kaukauna High School Civic Engagement Class on expanding the pavilion, adding a tow rope at the sledding hill and an ice rink at Grignon Park
- Upgrade LaFollette Park to include new restrooms, resurface the basketball court and parking lot
- Update our parks to include a music pavilion/amphitheater at Hydro Park or Central Park (the home of the original River Jam music festival)
