(LEARFIELD) – Injuries were among the topics discussed by Packers coach Matt LaFleur when he met with the media on Tuesday.
Among the questions was one about the status of defensive lineman Lucas Van Ess who played just 6 snaps against Minnesota on Sunday and sat out yesterday’s practice. Did Van Ess re-injure himself?
LaFleur also talked about the status of running back Josh Jacobs.
LaFleur said that there is a heightened sense of excitement about Thursday’s game against the Lions.
Big game? Yep: With the Chicago Bears in first place and the Detroit Lions right behind the Packers for second in the NFC North, Green Bay defensive end Micah Parsons said the team knows that this is an important game on Thursday.
Parsons talked about the key to being ready for a big game on 3-days rest.
With a short week, Parsons said that he feels he has an edge.
Packers wide receiver Christian Watson talked about playing on Thanksgiving in Detroit.
