The Wisconsin Beef Council is excited to announce new leadership to guide the state’s Beef Checkoff program. Curt Larson of Reedsburg, WI, president and CEO of Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association, has been elected board president for the next two years. He succeeds Amy Radunz, a beef cattle technical specialist and farmer from Ellsworth, who will continue to serve on the Executive Committee as past president.
The board also elected:
Brad Solchenberger (Cazenovia) – President-Elect
Brady Klatt (Clinton) – Secretary-Treasurer
Committee chairs and at-large members include:
Todd Cummings (Ogema) – Consumer Information Committee
Dan Reeson (Blanchardville) – Promotion Committee
Shari Overby (Clear Lake) – Producer Communications/Industry Information Committee
Abdullah Hussaini (Stoughton) – At-Large Member
Tressa Lacy (Rio) – At-Large Member
We look forward to the leadership of this team as they continue to advance Wisconsin’s $2.1 billion beef industry through promotion, research, and producer education.
